Randfontein — The Kiss My Bass social fishing club ended their year on a high note when they held their final meeting for 2010 on 7 December.

The event was held at the Clan Doyle Venue in Loumarina, and members were treated to a fascinating talk by a representative from Papala VMC, a supplier of fishing lure. Every one learned a lot and had great fun in the process. After the formalities were attended to, members stayed on for a braai and started making plans for the season ahead.
A lot of the talk around the fires kept circling around the inevitable ‘one that got away’ story.

Two of the members, Gavin Coetzee and Greg Steyn, were awarded a trophy for finishing on top of the fishing log for the 2010 fishing season. "The Kiss my Bass social fishing club is perfect for anyone to join," says chairman, Gavin Coetzee. "Whether you are a serious fisherman, or if you just want to have some fun and fish socially."

For more information, or to join the Kiss My Bass social fishing club, contact Gavin on 072 325 5714, or Clan Doyle on 072 135 3645.
Their next meeting will be held at Clan Doyle on 11 January.
